The KFC Midsummer Challenge is coming to Pirita for the third time!
In the festive year of the European Capital of Sport, KFC is once again supporting the Midsummer Challenge for the third time and invites all sports enthusiasts to the midsummer sports party in Pirita. Be sure to mark your calendar: July 13th, KFC Midsummer Challenge – Pirita 2025, and let’s set a new course record together!
The year 2025 is special for movement enthusiasts because Tallinn proudly holds the title of European Capital of Sport 2025. As the title sponsor of the Midsummer Challenge, KFC hopes to make a valuable contribution to this exciting sports year and inspire people to spend more time outdoors, be active, and perhaps even participate in some suitable sporting events. The European Capital of Sport 2025 program offers exciting activities in Tallinn for athletes, amateurs, and supporters alike – all you need to do is choose the events that suit you best!
Registration for the KFC Midsummer Challenge is open at https://reg.ööjooks.ee/ and there are three distances to choose from:
- 10 km run
- 4 km run
- Kids’ run
Run, walk, or complete the distance with a stroller or poles. For more information and a course overview, visit the website https://eestimaraton.ee/.
For movement enthusiasts, the KFC Midsummer Challenge 2025 in Pirita offers beautiful views of the sea and the Old Town. The organizing team has designed the entire course based on the concept of a “community run”: the start/finish is conveniently located in one place for participants, right by the beach, with interval starts to avoid bottle necks. The course runs along a seaside pedestrian path without traffic closures.
All finishers will receive gifts from KFC, the atmosphere will be kept lively by a day host, and KFC’s mascot will cheer on the sports crowd. Throughout the event, there will be several exciting challenges and prize games for runners, both on KFC’s social media and at the event itself.
The KFC Midsummer Challenge is organized by the Rakvere Marathon Association in cooperation with the City of Tallinn, the Pirita District Government, and sponsors. The official information channels for the KFC Midsummer Challenge are: www.ööjooks.ee and the Eesti Ööjooksu Facebook page.
